Service Terms
Last updated: May 29, 2026
Overview
These terms describe the standard scope and payment expectations for working with Colton Foley on constraint reviews, practical experiments, advisory, and related scoped work.
Constraint Reviews And Practical Experiments
The first paid step is usually a focused review of where an owner-led business may be leaking time, money, capacity, trust, or owner attention. If the constraint is real and worth changing, follow-on work may be scoped as a workflow, offer, follow-up rhythm, AI-assisted process, simple tool, or advisory cadence.
Included
- Review of relevant growth, operations, customer communication, workflow, data, or AI-adoption context.
- Owner/team interview and review of non-sensitive workflow examples.
- Identification of the likely business constraint.
- Notes for the first practical workflow, template, checklist, or review rhythm.
- Safe-use and review guidance where AI-assisted work is relevant.
- A practical next-step plan or scoped experiment.
Not Included Unless Separately Scoped
- Ongoing implementation or unlimited revisions.
- Custom software development.
- Full CRM migration or automation maintenance.
- Full ad management or sales team management.
- Outsourced admin staffing, bookkeeping, or call answering.
- IT support or ongoing technical support.
- Guaranteed revenue, cost savings, or business outcomes.
- Ongoing team training after the sprint.
Payment
Fees, payment timing, and delivery expectations are set in writing before paid work begins. Work begins after payment and receipt of the requested kickoff information unless otherwise agreed.
Delivery Timeline
The standard delivery target is 2 weeks after kickoff materials are received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Refunds And Cancellations
If paid work is canceled before work begins, payment may be refunded. Once custom diagnostic or advisory work begins, payments are non-refundable because the work is specific to the client's business.
Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for providing accurate business context, workflow examples, and relevant non-sensitive materials needed for the sprint. Recommendations are advisory, and results depend on client execution, team adoption, market conditions, and operational follow-through.
Data And AI Use
Clients should not provide sensitive, regulated, confidential, or customer-private data unless a safe handling process has been agreed in advance. AI-assisted examples are drafts and must be reviewed by humans before use.
Early-Stage Transparency
This is a founder-led practice. Early clients receive direct founder involvement and a hands-on process. The service is not a mature software platform, outsourced admin desk, or guaranteed implementation system.
